About Us
Hello! My name is Katie and I’m your cupcake baker.
I adore cupcakes – eating them, baking them and creating
new flavour combinations. I love how cupcakes allow everyone to
enjoy their own individual treat and in my family I soon learnt that
this helped prevent squabbling over who got the largest slice of cake!
They are elegant, dainty and can be personalised with pretty swirls and
little sprinkles: who can resist?
After completing a food degree at University I spent several months
searching for a job where I could use my love of baking to be creative
with food but nothing seemed just right. Thanks to encouragement from family
and friends I decided to set up Freshly Frosted from my home in Willington,
Bedfordshire. I now happily spend my days baking your cupcakes by hand to order.
In order to achieve ultimate cupcake satisfaction I believe people should
be allowed to get creative and customise their own cupcakes to suit their
own tastes and preferences. Why should certain cupcakes always be topped
with the same frosting? Here at Freshly Frosted we aim to help you create
your dream cupcake from our list of cake flavours, frostings and decorations,
no matter how weird and wonderful your combinations are!
All our cupcakes are baked and freshly frosted to order and contain free range eggs from a farm
less than a mile away, real butter and pure vanilla extract.
